Job Description

Job Title/Position: Business Development Field Representative

Department: Business Development

Reports To: Director of Business Development

Position Overview:

Currently hiring multiple positions in the CHicagland area. Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, execute a detailed territory focused sales strategy that will drive new relationships and Home Health Care all future Family

Home Health Network (FHHN) product and service offerings. Meet and exceed set sales goals by creatively developing strategic tactics to penetrate an ever-changing competitive marketplace, while maintaining already established relationships. Demonstrate strict observance of HIPPA compliance regulations and policies, and complete confidentiality of all patients related information. Professionally represent FHHN while staying committed to organizational mission, vision, values and goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions).

1 . Meet set sales goals within your defined territory as outlined in the annual sales plan.

2. Develop and execute an annual business development plan to establish new relationships, accounts and strategic partnerships within the defined territory outlined in the annual sales plan.

3. Professionally represent FHHN to Physicians, Hospitals, Skilled Nursing
Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Independent Living Facilities and
Continuing Care Retirement Communities.

4. Function as a liaison between referral sources and FHHN to ensure high quality and high satisfaction results and performance.

5. Provide ongoing education on agency clinical programs, changes in Medicare/CMS regulations and other related healthcare topics.

6. Communicate clearly, professionally, and timely with FHHN office operations and clinical team regarding new referrals, updates on needed referral documents and discharge information, following physician contact information and patient caregiver demographics

7. Ensure that all documents referenced on the FHHN referral checklist are submitted to

FHHN intake team 24 hours prior to patient discharge to promote timely Start of Care within agency policy guidelines.

8. Coordinate all aspects of service delivery for Home Health Care by meeting with patients, families and/or caregivers to discuss services that will be provided by FHHN.

9. Engage in vendor fairs, networking events and other marketing opportunities.

10. Develop strategic partnerships as defined within the annual Sales Plan.

11 . Develop strong working knowledge of FHHN CRM system.

12. Daily documentation of sales calls, account visits, prospects, contacts, physicians and all additional sales and account relationship data within FHHN CRM system.

13. Review of daily, weekly and monthly admissions within CRM system.

14. Prepare sales reports as asked and required by manager.

15.Assists other team members when necessary.

16. Attend all weekly calls, team meetings, individual 1 -on-I meetings and office staff meetings when scheduled.

17. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing or business, or be a licenses RN, LPN or SW

2. Established customer base in the industry

3. 3 years of home health experience

4. Strong team player

5. Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication.

6. Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.

7. Proficient public speaking and presentation skills.

8. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

9. Travel within defined territory.

10. Available after hours and weekends to meet with patients and/or patient families, attend networking events and health fairs, and other meetings as requested.

10.Ability to develop and support referral source relationships.

11 . Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.

12. Working knowledge of CRM systems.

13. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

14. Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.

Exertion Level: Sedentary Light Medium Heavy Very Heavy

Conditions:

May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases. Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances. May be exposed or occasionally exposed to patient elements.

Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Handles emergency or crisis situations.

Travel required. OSHA exposure category:

Category 1: Position includes tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues.

Category 2: Position includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category 1 tasks

Category 3: Position includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues.
